While creating this meal, I knew from the start that it had to have bison in it. Similar to the traditional Navajo taco dish, this meal consists of rice, beans, and bison meat in a delicious, creamy chili sauce. The best part? It also includes two whole buttermilk biscuits. This is a hearty, filling meal that not only has unbeatable taste and flavor, but will keep you full and content in the backcountry! -Chad
Preparation Instructions:
- Open pouch at tear mark. Remove oxygen absorber.
- Carefully add 1 3/4 cups (14 oz) boiling water to pouch.
- Stir well and zip pouch closed. Let stand for 10 minutes.
- Open pouch, stir again and enjoy!
