Sea to Summit Pursuit Plus Self Inflating Mat (Regular)

Made for comfort-seeking outdoors lovers, The Pursuit Plus is a 7.5cm thick, self inflating sleeping mat for maximum comfort in the wilderness. Available in the lightweight Contour shape or complete Rectangular versions, both use Horizontal Delta Coring construction to create foam-supported air channels for maximum comfort at a minimum weight. The XPEL Multi-Function Valve allows the mat to be rolled up easily, and a side-loading stuff sack streamlines the packing process. Pursuit Plus is built with bluesign APPROVED, RCS-recycled, solution-dyed fabric to create a mat with a high level of comfort and a low environmental impact. Sleeping Mat R-Values:

R-value is the industry standard way of determining resistance to heat loss for sleeping mats. Sea to Summit gets production versions of their mats independently tested at the EMPA laboratories in Switzerland. In the test, heat is applied to a plate on one side of the mat, and measurements are taken via a plate on the other side of the mat to determine how much energy per given area is necessary to raise the temperature of the second plate by a given amount. The result is a definitive measurement of the resistance to heat loss through the mats.
